After picking up two awards at the European Lovie Awards recently, we are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for Video of the year at the British Media Awards 2018!
The British Media Awards award media owners and companies that are innovating and adapting at a time of unprecedented change in media; so we are honoured to have made the list!
We have been shortlisted for the innovative piece of 360 content we produced for VSO to encourage young people to sign up the VSO overseas volunteer programming.
There was huge engagement with the targeted audience: it reached more than half a million people on ICS’s Facebook, brought in 115,000 views and created more than 2,000 reactions, comments and shares. The film was viewed at recruitment events on Google cardboards and watched online on YouTube. During a two month recruitment campaign the video generated 775,000 impressions, 11,000 unique views and 154 volunteer applications which was huge for the VSO.
